The Importance of The Father in The Home - The "US Department of Health and Human Services." I'm going to leave it up for a while, since the role of father's here in the west is typically been down played. Quite interesting information providing its coming from our Federal government. As a disclaimer this is by no means an endorsement of the authors of this article.
Its looks like God's definition of a family (a loving husband and wife) as found in scripture provides the best outcome for those in the family especially the children.

Market Driven Church vs. The Apostle Paul - Part 1
The two epistles from Paul to Timothy outline a ministry philosophy that challenges the prevailing wisdom of today. Nothing in these pastoral instructions hints at a market-driven philosophy. In fact, most of Paul's pastoral instructions are impossible to harmonize with the theories that are so popular today. Shouldn't 1st and 2nd Timothy still be a guide to pastors even in today's culture?

Bible Believing Liberals
An excellent article written by  by Todd Wilken. This  article has hit the nail right on its proverbial head. More and more are starting to take note that professing conservative churches doctrinal statements are not lining up with the practice of the church in question. This duplicitous behavior clearly reflects a church where the Bible is not central to the lives of those who claim they believe in it. In other words the walk does not match the talk or their written doctrinal statement. More and more professing theological conservatives are acting like liberals. A big thanks to Rev. Todd Wilken for this article ( This article is a must read

Pastor Who has Led You Astray

Should Christians Celebrate Easter By Pastor Jeff Alexander - What do you know about the origin and incorporation of Easter into Christianity? Have you found it strange that the most important event in Christianity is tainted with synergistic practices of paganism. Does the celebrating of Easter violate the Holiness of God? You decide.

The following is an excerpt from the article 'Should Christians Celebrate Easter" written by Pastor Jeff Alexander of the "Cause of God & Truth" website
"...Should Christians celebrate Easter? Certainly no one, especially Christians in our day, would associate chocolate bunnies with the vile and sensual rites of ancient fertility cults. However, I believe that we must look deeper. First, do our customs distract us from the real message? It is certain that the world will use any tactic to deflect attention from Christ and His truth in order to avoid dealing with sin. Are believers not helping them by indulging in these seemingly innocent though unauthorized additions? Further, in our increasingly pagan culture, where the Lord is summarily dismissed and substituted by Santa and the Easter Bunny, are we not compromising our Lord by partaking in these inane diversions?..."(new)

Where Are the Elders Who Guard the Flock?
By Bob DeWaay
- Per Dewaay's, " interviews with people who have witnessed their churches being infiltrated by unbiblical teachings and practices have opened my eyes to a serious problem in our evangelical movement: elders who do not think that what is being taught and practiced in their church is important enough to judge biblically. This is serious. In many cases, these elders consider their primary job to be—support the senior pastor and his reputation at all costs. Their secondary job—watch over the financial well being of the church as a corporation. Their tertiary job—make sure no one rocks the boat. Thus, in these elders' interpretation of their job description, the problem in the church becomes those concerned members who care about the integrity of the gospel message."

Does the Bible allow Christians to worship on Sunday?
by
Christian Apologetics & Research Ministry

Under the Old Testament economy God stated, "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of the Lord your God; in it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter your male or your female servant or your cattle or your sojourner who stays with you,"
What does the full revelation of God’s word say about the Sabbath?  Is it still Saturday or is it Sunday or does it matter which day is chosen.
