Do the
words and actions of Rick Warren leave you concern? Is what he is
saying / writing and doing truly line up with scripture? Read
the following and watch the videos then decide. When and where will Rick Warren stop in his rebellious apostate practice
of fellowshipping and participating with unbelievers and the powers of darkness? (2
Cor 6:14-18)
It is clear that Rick Warren has been softening the soil
for a spiritual deception. His latest move is called "The Daniel
Plan", which should convince the skeptic as to where he is leading the
church.
Update - Rick Warren Daniel Plan Now includes
Meditation and Hypnosis as stated on
Saddleback website. The following is an excerpt describing the
"Brain Type Action Plans"
Type 5: ANXIOUS
People with this type tend
use food or other substances to medicate underlying feelings of
anxiety, tension, nervousness, and fear. They may be plagued by
feelings of panic, fear, and self-doubt, and suffer physical
symptoms of anxiety, such as muscle tension, nail biting,
headaches, abdominal pain, heart palpitations, shortness of
breath, and sore muscles.
People with this type tend to
predict the worst and look to the future with fear. They may be
excessively shy, easily startled, and freeze in emotionally
charged situations.
Brain SPECT findings for this
type include:
Increased activity in the basal ganglia, which is
commonly caused by low levels of the calming neurotransmitter
GABA.
Action Plan
Learn how to Kill the ANTs
(automatic negative thoughts). Meditation (go to
the
Relaxation Room for meditation sessions). Hypnosis (go to the
Relaxation Room for hypnosis sessions).
Diaphragmatic breathing.
Relaxing music.
Intense exercise (see the Body Gym for more on
exercise). A balanced
diet between protein and complex carbohydrates (see Recipes &
Tips and Tana's Tips for recipes and more).
Fish oil, such as Omega-3 Power.
Optimize vitamin D level.
Dietary supplements such as GABA, B6, magnesium
and lemon balm found in GABA Calming Support. [2]
Is Rick Warren and the pastoral leadership so
blind that they have no clue as to what they are doing or is there truly
something else at work here? Where is the discernment at
Saddleback?
In answering the question
'WHY DID SADDLEBACK CHURCH CHOOSE TO USE THESE DOCTORS, WHO HAVE BEEN
LINKED TO OTHER BELIEFS''
on the
FAQ, Brandon Cox of Saddleback gives the following response: "Saddleback
in no way endorses any teaching outside of Scripture. We may ask a
physician for advice about physical health matters, but the
beliefs of our church are carefully guarded by Pastor Rick and all of
our Pastors. You can rest assured we will never compromise our
belief that Jesus is the only way to heaven or that the Bible is the
100% completely infallible and perfect Word of God. These Doctors are
helping us as friends, but are in no way advising our church on
spiritual matters."
One is force to ask why is this deception being
practiced by Saddleback's pastoral staff? How can they with a straight
face say what they have said in their FAQ about the Daniel Plan and then
in practice violate scripture as they are doing. Why is it that so few -
relativelly speaking - appear to be blind as to the balant deception
being perpertated by the leadership of Saddleback church?
Rick Warren Daniel Plan Leaders
Warren has said this will be the decade
of destiny. He has kicked it
off with the "The Daniel Plan - God's Prescription for Your Health". This
program will taught by a Dr. Amen, Dr Hyman and Dr Oz. Warren has
describe them with the following heading "The Leading Health Specialist
in America".
Rick Warren again is
opening the doors and building bridges to occultic
eastern mysticism within the church now its with is "Daniel Plan". According to Warren, Saddleback
church will be a “test community” to show the world how to live “healthy
and sustainably.”
There is no doubt that some of those who
will participate in the Daniel Plan will become participants and
followers of the new age occultic practices of doctors Amen, Hyman, and Oz
as part of their maintaining good health. This will be possible because
these men consider transcendental meditation, yoga, etc., as part of a healthy lifestyle that leads to what Warren has
called
“healthy and sustainably.
The most important thing that Rick Warren neglects to tell you is the spiritual background of these
men. Their background are:
Dr Amen
- A professing Christian recommends in his book "Making A Good
Brain Great", on page 168, a active form of yoga form of
meditation known as Kirtan Kriya, [3] also known as the SA TA
NA MA meditation. He also advocates tantric
sex (click
here for more)
Dr Hyman - professing
Christian that promotes 'yoga nidra', 'meditation', and 'tai
qi quan' and 'qi gong'. Which is stated in is book
The UltraMind
solution. Following are the excerpts from the book.
Dr Oz - Is a Muslim who practices
Sufi Islam and Transcendental Meditation. His wife follows the works of the Emanuel
Swedenborg (Swedenborgianism), which is also revered by Sufi Muslims because of the
similarities on a philosophical level. The video link below is of Dr. Oz
saying he is Muslim and explaining his personal perspective.
Dr Oz is also a promoter of
Reiki (r(ray key). "rei" meaning universal spirit and "ki" meaning
life energy. This form of Japanese healing was discovered by Dr. Usui
Reiki Ryoho during a "mystical experience" atop Mount Kurama in Japan in
1922. Although Dr. Usui is said to have been a Buddhist who was studying
Christianity.
According to the
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) January 9, 2010 the following was mentioned
Dr. Mehmet Oz Declares Reiki as His #1 Alternative Medicine
Secret
"If Dr. Mehmet Oz is talking about Reiki, all of America is
talking about it and looking for ways to learn about it.” Reiki
Master Rose De Dan says that with health being at the top of
people’s 2010 resolution list, learning Reiki is a great next
step to take, and offers six tips on how to choose the right
training."
Accord to the article, "
Reikiis a
non-invasive form of energy medicine that balances the body,
mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually, enabling the
body to do what it does best -- heal itself. De Dan explains,
“Reiki assists in accelerating healing from injury/illness,
promotes relaxation and stress reduction, reduces or eliminates
pain. Reiki strengthens the immune system, assists in clearing
emotional or physical trauma, and offers quality of life support
for those who are aging or in hospice care. Knowing Reiki is
like having your own personal healing kit at your fingertips.”
The effects of this behavior are obvious, (1) he is diminishing the
authority of God’s word. (2) he has and is building bridges for evil
(wolves / tares) to enter the sheep fold. (3)
Warren actions
are deepening the divide among the body of Christ which is what error
does.

Rick Warren assessment on the 5 Fundamentals of
the Christian Faith - "Now the word
"fundamentalist" actually comes
from a document in the 1920s
called the Five Fundamentals of
the Faith.
And it is a very
legalistic, narrow view of
Christianity..."
The Five Fundamentals of the Faith
(1) the
inerrancy of the Bible, (2) the Virgin Birth
and the deity of Jesus, (3) the belief that
Jesus died to redeem mankind's sin and that
salvation resulted through faith in Jesus,
(4) the physical resurrection of Jesus, and
(5) the imminent Second Coming of Jesus.
Is this what Rick Warren calls "...legalistic,
narrow view of Christianity ..." or are they
part of essential Christian doctrine with
eternal relevance?
Notice his comments as reported in
the
The Pew Forum on Religion
& Public Life
"Myths of the Modern
Megachurch EVENT TRANSCRIPT May 23, 2005"
"Now the word "fundamentalist" actually comes
from a document in the 1920s called the Five
Fundamentals of the Faith. And it is a very
legalistic, narrow view of Christianity, and
when I say there are very few fundamentalists, I
mean in the sense that they are all actually
called fundamentalist churches, and those would
be quite small. .."
Davos World Economic 2008
I have listen to the following video several times and
it utterly amazes me that
Rick Warren is espousing the belief that religious
faiths (Islam, Buddhism, etc.) working together can solve
the Worlds Problems (Global Giants has he calls them).
Listen carefully starting at 40min:20seconds into film for approximately 10
minutes to hear the bulk of Rick Warrens has to say.
I would encourage you to listen to the entire video, it
will give you a better understanding of the context to
place Rick Warren pursuits
Rick's Warren view of the world's future is
religious pluralism. For some reason he espouses the lie
through his actions and words that the answer to the Global
Giants of the world will come about through the working
together of the worlds faiths (Christianity, Islam,
Buddhism, Judaism, etc.) stitutions (faiths).
God
has never blessed a union where his people have involved
themselves in joint pursuits with pagan religions. This is a
clear violation of the "First Commandment" (Ex 20:3) and the
commandment "not to be bound together with unbelievers(2 Cor
6:14-18). Yet for some reason Rick Warren is trying to
persuade the church and those outside of the church that all
working together, can solve the worlds "Global Giants". The worlds
problems will continue to increase and intensify regardless
of the cooperation of the worlds religions, reaching its
crescendo in the Great Tribulation.
The final and
only solution will come about through the person of Jesus
Christ in the Millennium, not by interfaith cooperation.
Warren actions depict one who is either deceived or in
intentional rebellion against God.
According to Warren, "there
are major problems on our planet. I call them global giants,
they affect not millions of people but billions of people,
They are (1)pandemic diseases, (2)extreme poverty, (3)
illiteracy, (4) corruption, (5) global warming, (6)spiritual
emptiness. We cannot solve these problems without involving
people of faith and their religious institutions...."
Why is Rick more concern about working together
by involving people of interfaith persuasion and their religious
institutions (Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist and Christian) to
solve the worlds problems as opposed to sharing Christ with
those who do not know him?
Can man truly address the problems of the world apart from a relationship with
Christ or will a joining of the worlds religions solved the worlds problems?
Is Rick Warren misleading millions while
claiming to have the answer to the Worlds problems- Global
giants? Which by
the way his answer doesn't appear to be Jesus of the Bible.
He instead opts for the worlds system of Globalization
especially in the are of interfaith globalization which is
a production of fallen human nature.
Degrading the Gospel to a formulated, whispered prayer to find
ones true self is part of what one discovers in Rick Warrens, The
Purpose-Driven Life movement. Addressing a large group of pastors and
Christian leaders at the Metropolitan Tabernacle in London, Richard
Bennett spoke with deep concern. He exposed the widespread movement that
is afflicting thousands upon thousands of souls around the world.[1]
The effects of Warren's behavior are obvious, (1) he is diminishing the
authority of God’s word. (2) he has and is building bridges for evil
(wolves / tares) to enter into the sheep fold. (3)
Warren actions
are deepening the divide among the body of Christ which is what error
does.
